About Us

 Patchwork Chicks opened in June 2009, and is a friendly and welcoming patchwork and quilting shop. Since opening the shop has grown and we now offer a wide variety of patchwork fabric, wadding and notions, along with books, magazines, patterns, kits, buttons, ric-rac… and much more!

 We also offer workshops all year round, from complete beginners, through to the more experienced quilters. We also run on-going sampler workshops, both for beginners and intermediates, along with regular sit and sew groups on a Thursday. A full list of our classes can be found on the website, or in the shop.

 The shop is situated in the quaint village of Barrowford, 2 minutes from junction 13 of the M65. Barrowford has a number of inviting independent shops, along with a beautiful park . Pendle Heritage Centre is within walking distance and has an excellent tea room, tourist information centre, shop and museum.
